Sex- linked Information

I know this is BackYardChickens.com, but we have a huge community of "duck people" as well.
Any chance someone could write up sex-link information on duck colors and make it a sticky too?

Sorry, but I am too busy with chicken genetics to branch into the genetics of other birds. I do not have the room to work with ducks.

awesome information! I am interested in egg production. 2 Questions:

1] If I hatch eggs from golden comet x golden comet will egg production of resulting pllets be affected?

2] If I hatch eggs from golden comet Hen x Austrolorp roo, a] will egg production be affected 2] will the chicks be sex linked?

Great information!! We have a set of eggs hatching in the next couple days. We will cross check and take notes thanks again !

I am interested in crossing a RIR with a dark sussex. Because they both have mahogony in them I am wondering about the chicks coloring in order to sex them. Please ?

I never knew crossing a sexlink with any other breed of chicken will not produce another sexlink... Yay! that means my little ones might just be females!!!!
