i have a gold silkie roo and getting some light sussex hens. will i be able to breed goldtops? i know you need the roo to have the brown gene. people seem to use white silkie so will a gold one work

Looks like that's the formula, I read a buff silkie roo will work over the light sussex hens. Boy chicks will be silver based and females will be gold based. They're sure cute birds!
