I just found out that a "sizzle" is not simply a frizzled silkie! I can't explain exactly what it is...there's a silkie thread with an explanation, if you are interested in reading it, let me know and I'll try to find the post for you.Looking like a pullet. It is hard to tell this early it being a sizzle (that is what we call silkie frizzles) and I don't know if you have much experience or knowledge with/of silkies but they can be quite hard to sex. Post again in another 2-4 weeks and to be sure

Or are the feathers in the picture normal feathers frizzled? I think that's what a silkie is...The frizzled feather without the silkie feather structure.

it's not in reference to the chicken at the top of the thread. It is a description of what a "sizzle"is. Because I didn't know when someone mentioned a sizzle and frizzled silkier in the same sentence. I always thought they were the same thing.i dont think this chicken looks like the chicken in that thread at all
I’d love to know the difference! The above link is just talking about how her hen took a bit to be a good momhttps://www.backyardchickens.com/t/866940/so-proud-of-my-silkie-hen-genie#post_13135390
