Sex of 5 week old BO?

I have two 5 week old Buff Orpington chicks. One has rose color at the base of the crown and a small tail. The other has no rose / red coloring at all and no tail. The were both supposed to be sexed as females. Both very friendly and docile. I can't have a rooster so hoping one is just developing faster

I would post back in 2/3 weeks with clearer pictures in natural light. Orpingtons are quite slow developers, english orps are anyhow

That one is tough I'm leaning toward cockerel, but I think it's probably a wait and see. That comb looks like it could still go either way. I would give it a couple more weeks.

Orps. Are slow developers, so those little red wattles mean a boy.

They are 13 weeks now. One is just starting to get rose colored comb. The second looks the same as she did at 8 weeks. Both same the egg song today but no eggs. Think I just had an early puberty pullet. Glad I kept her!
