I got a pair of turkeys, very young.
they've grown quite a lot, and I wanted to know if they were sexed right.
If they arent the right sex I'm allowed to trade for the right one.

First up:
Thanksgiving thinking Male (he's larger, but a lil bit older, and his face turns red a lot!):

Please help me now, because the person I bought them from said I could trade if any of them were wrongly sexed.
Thanks in advance,
Jenn

UHH!
YAY!!!!
I was so scared they weren't right, and I'd have to give these birds up...
their all soo freakin sweet! and im attached!
thanks sooo much everyone!

Both the chooks look like hens to me... as for the turkies, Thanksgiving is deffinately a Tom (male) and Christmas is deffinately a hen... My son says he wants to buy Christmas from you

he has two Royal Palm Toms and no hen...

Hope you enjoy... how old are they? She should start laying at around 7 months... she will find a inconspicous place... such as in brush, under stumps, bushes... she will find a spot that is safe where no one is able to see her... they produce a clutch of about 12-15 eggs sometimes maybe more..

Have fun and enjoy them.... Tes

lol!
thanks for the compliment!
umm these guys are still quite young...
the turkeys were hatched out in June
so maybe 3 months old
they are growing like weeds!
funny, clumsy guys
If you are near indiana, there is a lady who sells them for around $6 a poult...
Im not really worried about eggs... I don't want any more turkeys... I just like this pair... their for 4-h...
and are gonna have a forever home here.

Well if you let yours free-range... then you will have little ones whether or not you want them unless you find the eggs and take them.

Nope, we are in Virginia... oh well... he can wait til spring...
