Sexing 2.5 m and 3.5m chickens

Wondering the sex of these two chickens they are mixes the darker one is 3.5 m and the other is 2.5 m. Originally thought female but the redder colour makes me think otherwise.

These are a maran mix any idea of their potential sex ? They are 2.5 m .
