Sexing 2 Red Laced Blue Wyandotte’s these birds are 6 weeks old. 1st and 2nd picture are of the same one and 3rd and 4th are the second in question.

They are hard to sex early on. I accidentally gave away a gorgeous BLRW I hatched thinking it was a cockerel. Nope! The person I gave her to said she’s a pretty pullet now.

First one looks like a boy second one I’m on the fence with, may be a girl. These are very young birds and Wyandottes are notoriously difficult to sex early. Pullets often have very pink combs and waddles at a young age. I would wait till they are 12 weeks old and then re-post photos if you are still unsure at that time.

Thank you! I was definitely holding on to them until there were more signs pointing to male or female just because of how difficult it seems to be with these.

See the comb and waddle of this one seem more muted than on my 2 I showed. Uuuggghhh I wish they would just tell me!

So we are now at 81/2 weeks old and there is starting to be big differences between these 2. They seem like they are different sexes. I still can’t seem to know what though. Chick#1 is the darker headed one, chick #2 is the one with the gray head and flatter wider comb. Your thoughts are appreciated.
