is there any way to tell the sex of 3 week old chicks.

i have buff brahmas, jersey giants, amberlinks, buff orps, and golden laced wyandotte.

I don't really care about vent sexing, just being able to tell what sex they are via feathering, comb/wattle analysis, or other way. I've heard all the wives tales and don't believe them so if there is any other way please help!

What are the "wives tales" you don't believe?

At three weeks you can usually tell them apart with the exception of any late bloomers. The bigger the group (the better the sampling) or the more experience you have the better your results. Cockerels will tend towards having larger combs than the pullets and the pullets will have more tail feathering with smaller combs.
