Sexing 8 week Easter Eggers.. help

Ah, ok! I'm slowwwwwwwly learning to sex birds. I know that usually rust/reddish color on the wings is a male trait in most breeds, in EEs it's on the shoulders too? Good to know. Looking closer at the picture I can see some pointy hackle/saddle feathers.... guess I didn't look close enough the first time!
Most of the time when sexing birds that aren't solid coloring like black, white, or buff, the feather pattern is a huge clue. Usually in pullets, the color ties in with the ones next to it. The most similar idea I can think of is the "blur" effect in Photoshop. Anything that doesn't really fit in, especially on wings, back, and shoulders, usually means male! 😁

So any random splotches signal male? Good to know!

Update: Well definitely a rooster, if looks are not enough, he crowed first time this morning.
