They are very pretty and I agree a drake and a Hen. You are fortunate to get one of each. I usually do but this time I bought mine from TSC for a buck a duck and I got two Bucks, lol.Thank you, the drake is younger than the hen, by about 2 weeks. I bought them at separate farm stores and the hen was already a week or 2 old. The drake was only a few days old. We weren’t sure what they were.
You are most welcome!!Thank you!
The make is actually 2 weeks younger than the female. I bought them at 2 different locations.
Same my Drake is finally getting so grey or the color males are supposed to get mine also has a green sheen on top of his head but your ducks are so cute!Hi, these are my 2 Rouen ducklings, only 9 weeks old. I think the one with the green bill is a drake, he whistles- no quack. The one with the yellow bill quacks loudly. Also, the green one is bigger and growing faster the other. They are both pleasant and friendly.
Here they are now at 19 weeks100% male. I see that yellow bill of his! And you can see he’s starting to molt into his adult feathers near the base of his bill. This dark line here

Green spot isn’t always a sex indicator though, yes.
I recently bought one with a double eye stripe. It was in a bin of mixed ducklings. It did have the back toe removed on the right foot so I figured it was a Mallard but did not understand the double eye stripe on it. It has the dark rear end like the male and sounds raspy at 6 weeks until I pick it up. Then it has a different voice, not a quack but also not the loud peeping or whistling that all of my boys have had. I can't do sounds or videos on here but just fine it interesting that its such a strange bird. I have not given up that it is a boy for sure but the coloring seems to be. Always wishful thinking, lol.Hi, these are my 2 Rouen ducklings, only 9 weeks old. I think the one with the green bill is a drake, he whistles- no quack. The one with the yellow bill quacks loudly.
