Someone my husband works with just bought 3 pet-quality sebastopols (as pets). She was told they were a breeding trio. She wanted to know if I wanted one because she didn't really want eggs and didn't think she had room for three? Anyway, I asked for pics and she told me just to come over...so I did and all three look exactly the same to me. Same size, same neck/head/legs/feet...they all hissed at me and honked...I honestly couldn't sex them!! I felt stupid not being able to tell her the sexes but I told her I thought they were all the same. She's had them about 2 weeks and no eggs...so are they all ganders? She said they are supposed to be about two years old. With mine, there is a size difference, not a huge one but enough to tell the goose from the ganders...

Well, I don't know!!

me either! LOL The one that she wants to get rid of (surprise, surprise) is a NASTY BUGGER! My sebbies are very sweet and never hiss at me (although they don't care for my dogs or hubby, LOL) but these are just mean! I guess they put the run on this lady and her kids all the time...she thinks they are beautiful...which they are...just in a pet-quality sort of way, LOL It tried to intimidate me--head down, charging and then hissing...I waved my arms and came after it and he shot the other way, raising some awful noise as it went, LOL
