I have read about the different ways of sexing baby chicks and was wondering if the feather method, (to make and educated guess...LOL) works with any breed of chick??? And at what age???

You'll have to read up on each breed before doing so. Most are very common with each other, there are a few that will be a bit more difficult. Some you simply can't sex by their feathers though. Do this around 20-34 hours, which I have found to be the best and most accurate time to feather sex chickens.

I do not know for sure, but I am curious also! I just tried feather sexing my 4 BLRW chicks who are about 20 hours old, maybe a little less. 3 of the 4 had very uneven feathering, and 1 was sort of even looking. Which would be great! 3 pullets and a roo! perfect! Time will tell!!

It's very hard to sex new born chicks. You are often suprized. If it works, let me know.
