sexing brahma chicks?

Hi, i am planning on getting 4 more brahma pullets- a friend has 6 week old LB chicks, is there a way to determine boys and girls at that age? i have 3 young brahmas now(gor them in september), they were supposed to be pullets...

ct was a bit picked on, he is a gorgeous cockeral now

then Lily, the pullet , here comb was pale compared to the other 2, and barely a comb at all

and here is Lily with Barny, now alpha roo

in hind site, i guess the comb color is a dead giveaway- so i am getting 4 more since i have 2 roos to 8 hens

Boys will have larger pink combs at that age. Go for the ones without pink and small combs. Also, look at the coloring. The girls look more "clean" in the white, and the boys have more black through their back.

thanks! will be looking close at them- last thing i need is more roos, but the ones i have are awesome roos- even at this young of an age, learning the ground rules so to speak...
