Sexing buff Sussex 7 weeks old

Hi everyone. Wondering if someone can sex my buff Sussex chicks - 7 weeks old. Thinking there is 2 pullets 1 cockerel and 1 I'm not sure! First 2 pics are of the potential cockerel, next 2 the one I'm not sure of, next 2 are pullet 1 and next 2 pullet 2. Not sure if it helps indicate gender but I also weighed them - cockerel 800g, mystery 700g, pullet 1 700g and pullet 2 650g. Thanks!

1 and 2 are cockerels. Tbh, the last 2 have a lot of comb and wattle for 7 weeks. Check back in a couple weeks.

Hi thanks for the reply! not sure which ones you mean though as there are 4 different birds!

Oh I'm sorry I misread! It's hard to tell them apart, I thought there were only 3!
Then I have a hunch it's 2 and 2

Haha no problem next time I think I'll edit the pictures to have numbers on! Yea that's what I'm leaning towards- was hoping for 3 pullets -oh well hopefully the next few weeks it will be a bit more obvious! Thanks

Are these the start of the dreaded saddle feathers of a rooster on this buff sussex?

Yes, those look like the start of saddle feathers Do you have updated pictures? They all looked like cockerels when young

Oh dear. Those pics were of the one bird from today so roughly 9 weeks old. 2 of the 3 I have left have those feathers the one doesn't...yet :s

They don't get saddle feathers that young but that buff is a cockerel. It's comb is too developed and red for a 9 week pullet.
