SEXING BY DOWN COLOR

Has anyone had any luck sexing by down color/head color?

I have some Americauna/Leghorn mixes, some olive eggers, Americaunas, and other barnyard mixes.

I see heads distinctly white and others black. I have 16 chicks and can only keep 5....I'm trying to figure out which 5 and when to sell the remainder.

It does not sound like any of your chicks are sex linked, and therefore can't be sexed by down color. Or feather sexed.

Well thats a bummer.. Thanks ! Sounds like its keep everyone until I find out if its a hen or ...crap shoot
