Sexing by saddle feathers

Can or will anyone affirm my belief that the red chicken is a Roo and the black chicken is a hen based on the saddle feathers? They are 8 weeks and 3 days old. Thank you.

I'm not seeing pictures, but gender specific saddle/hackle feathers don't typically start to show until 12ish weeks. Some chicks gender can be determined by feather color, but only of they're an autosexing breed.

Chicks don’t have saddle feathers at that age, you’ll have to look at indicators like comb, wattles, leg thickness.
