Hey everyone! It's that time of the year again when we're all getting new chicks. I already have a rooster that I love dearly and I was looking for tips on sexing chicks. I have a Barred Rock, 2 Bluebell Eggers, and a Cream Legbar (all 1 week old). If anyone has special tips for helping me sex any of these guys that would be very much appreciated!

Headspot says female but that trait can be lost
Ok thank you so much. The feathering coming in on the wings is dark but when I open the wing the barring is exposed. Online it said the feathers will be darker in females but the video I watched didn’t open up the wing to show more of the feathers.

barred rock roosters usually have a couple of spots or a wrap-around spot on the back of their neck ..

All 3 of my BR look different as far as barring...they all have the spot on their head but one has faded barring one is a very light and one is a gray colored barring. It's easy to tell them apart right now at least.
