Sexing chicks

Does anyone know how to sex chicks. Is it true that the pointier eggs are the roos??

The only way to sex chicks is to vent sex (look inside the vent for the sex organ, which is not easy), feather sex, down color sex (if they're bred sex linked) or wait 4-5 weeks for the roosters combs to show some red.

Feather sexing can only be done if the breeding stock is matched up appropriately (fast feathering over slow feathering).
