I have a few I'm questioning. They will be a full 5 weeks old Saturday. I only have 4 that were straight run and right now this little splash is the only one showing any development in the comb and waddle area. It also got its body and feet feathers very quickly and just completely stopped when it got to the head and neck. I think its been running around for 2 weeks looking just as it does in this picture. Its has gotten bigger in these last couple weeks, though. Bigger than the other chicks. It has the greatest little personality and has become my favorite, my favs usually end up being roos. I know I may be jumping the gun a little, but figured maybe some of you cochin experts out there might see something I don't. TIA!

The top white, I am on the fence about. Watch the comb/wattle development in the next couple weeks.

Your second is a cockerel. His comb looks like it has color, and I see wattle development - at five weeks, if he was mine, I would be figuring cockerel.

thanks so much for the replies everyone! I'm pretty positive the darker one is my first blue rooster, which I'm happy about! I'm still on the fence about the white/splash chick. Guess I'll have to wait a little longer on that one.
