Sexing cookoo marans?

Hi,

My friend got 10 unsexed cookoo (spelling?) marans, hatched 5/17

4 have tiny little tails, 6 have no little tail feathers yet.

all her other sexed female chicks have these little tiny tails.

Question is, do you think the tail feathers mean they are girls???

That will help you. Cuckoo Marans and Barred Rocks have the same sexing rules as the Doms.

Good luck picking the girls! There are exceptions to the rules and I've been fooled a time or two, but for the most part, they work well.
