sexing goslings- examining the vent

how can i sex my white chinese goslings myself? Is it too dangerous or difficult to examine the vent if I am very careful? I have seen diagrams on the internet on how to do so but don't want to hurt them. Has anyone done this before?

I have, but I won't try to tell you how since you might injure the gosling if done wrong. Is there anyone with experience around that might show you how and couch your first attempts?
