all 8 of the above chicks should be girls.
They are about 2 1/2 weeks old.

Who has experience and can help me confirm.

We can only keep 1 of each breed, so need to be certain.

Looks like there is no real consensus on the BRs. I saw an article somewhere that said more telling than the head spot for BRs are the barring on the wings and the coloring of the legs.

For the Faverolles the pullets are supposed to have the light coloring on their wings, the tans and light browns, while cockerels’ wings are darker.

Let's just wait till they hit at least 3-4 maybe 5 weeks of age before sticking to an answer for the barred rocks?
Males will lighten up as they grow.
