So I am going to be getting a Brahma( maybe), gold laced Cochin and a English Orpington in the next 21 days. What age is the SOONEST I can tell there gender. I know that you won’t fully know till like a month but what is the earliest because we can not have a male. :( I’m kinda stressed out about this. I’m tempted on waiting till they are 2 weeks so that the breeder can get a better look at them. Would this be a good thing to do? I’m new to these birds please help

I really only have experience with English orpingtons. I believe you could tell what sex it is right away, a cockerel would typically have shorter wing feathers for at least a couple weeks until it catches up to the pullets. After the first week you could look for any sparring or displays of dominance. Around 3-4 weeks you should start to see a larger comb. Hole that helps a bit, good luck!
