Sexing khaki campbells by coloring?

At what age can you tell the sex from their coloring? Mine are about 5 weeks old and their heads are starting to get darker - when will they be done getting their feathers in?

good question....anyone?? At what age do males heads begin to darken more than females??

Hmm... mine are just over six weeks old. They're about fully-feathered now. There's a very slight color differentiation between the drake and the females. Honestly I don't think I could tell by that alone. I can tell because he's noticeably bigger than they are.

If I recall the drake's head won't really start to darken until... maybe 3 months? I know it takes quite a long time.
