I hatched a few different breeds and I am finding these lavender austrolorps so tricky! They are 3 weeks old and I can only really tell one of them apart from the others. I did finally manage to tell them apart enough to get a pick of each one today and not double up the same one twice lol!
Notes that aren’t visible in the pictures: 3 and 4 have noticeably thicker legs than the other two. 4 is the one I initially thought was a pullet, standing lower than the others. Calm. But now has the biggest comb out of the group and has fairly thick legs. The other three have similar combs and have a touch of yellow fluff around the neck, 4 is darker and solid grey.
I know they are still young and it’s early to tell, but I know with some breeds there are tricks to watch for and I’m not familiar at all with this breed. What do you guys think?
