We have 5 week old mallards and we have no clue their sex. They both still peep, but it is becoming a little raspy, and they both are normally talkative. The only real difference between them right now is their bill color. One has a brown strip, but with yellow sides. The other one has a mostly brown bill, with a little bit of a cream coloring. Is there a way we can guestimate their sex by that?

Do they have speculum color yet? Usually the females are more purplish and males are bluer. Yellow is usually male though. May take another week or two to be really sure.
