Sexing my quail?

My quails looks male and its 8 and a half weeks old but it doesn't excrete the white substance so does that mean that its a female the quail im talking about is my profile picture

If you're in the northern hemisphere and not providing extra light, he just might not be foaming. Can you post a picture of him, especially his chest? From your profile pic, he might not be feather sexable, but we can try.
