Sexing our 6 week old EE

My daughter got what are supposed to be all pullets but she thinks we have a rooster in the bunch. Last time we got 6 EE. 4 turned out to be males. We didn't know until they got their crow. Please help of you can.

With pea combs 3 rows usually means Pullet, 1 row means cockerel. Also red patches on the shoulders is common in male EE.

The 3 rows on a EE's comb normally doesn't have to do much with the gender, nor does the color, I've got a hen with 3 rows on her pea comb and a cockerel the same color of yours, Black and white are actually a common color for male EEs though.

Sorry to say you have a cockerel.

She notice green in its tail feather. We looked at the comb and really couldn't tell if there was one or three. Thanks!

Agree with the above, 3 rows of peas doesn't always indicate cockerel. Even EE pullets can have them!
