Sexing our 6 week old EE

Too much red in its comb at this age typically equals Roo. However, my cross bread Gold/Silver Laced Wyandotte hen had lots of red in her comb, however, she didn’t have any indication of waddles until she was like 12 weeks old. Despite all indications, visual inspection can be lacking. If at week 22-25 or before, it starts crowing then you’ve got a Roo. Also by week 8 if there is bright red waddles you’ve got a Roo definitely

Saw an article online recently that if you turn a chick onto its back, a hen will draw up both legs while a rooster will stretch one out/down.... Mine are all crossbred chooks so breed related traits not always indentifiable.

Thank you all! Looking at the comb on the cockerel compared to the others it is much redder and bigger. Btw laying it on it's back didn't work.. haha
