I bought these from a breeder locally. They are crested polish and creme legbars. They are 9 to 10 weeks old. Breeder has multiple heritage breeds but controls the types at any given time. Not all breeds available at any given time. Please what do you think? Starting with my 2 polish...the one with dark gray is a little behind in feathers due to splayed leg at 3 to 4 weeks. Fully recovered! Yay
I put 2 pics each

The light gray one with the nice round crest is a pullet, the darker one looks to be a cockerel at this point with the messiness of its crest and the little developing wattles.

EDIT: Also seeing some male-specific feathering on the wings on your darker one- that light brownish rustiness on its shoulders is barely there but indicates male.

I got that before I really think 1 is a pullet...still has a small and yellow comb...also 2 are getting the salmon color on chest possibly.and are darker coloring ..2 are smaller and more docile...2 chest bump and try to dominate the others...why do you say all male?

Males and females have very different color patterns in cream Legbars. They are an autosexing breed that has been selected for that. All of the birds pictured have the male color pattern. They are also double barred, which is genetically impossible for female chickens.

Thank you...I agree with you on polish after so much reading and learning...Funny thing is at first the light one acted like a rooster and had a messy crest..we were convinced it was roo...then the crest rounded out and she calmed down. The other darker one began as the largest and most in charge but then got splayed leg and went down hill fast. Thank goodness there are so many knowledgeable folks on here and I received perfect instructions on how to help and it recovered. I began to think it was a Roo as it started challenging the creme leg bars I feared were Roosters (2 of them) but I think the polish has been lowered on pecking order just in the last week. Not as confrontational as before. With that being said all my chickens are so sweet and friendly!! Just establishing pecking order and the 1 pullet which we originally all guessed was a Roo and named it Beethoven is now the most docile along with one of my creme bars....lol This sexing chickens is not easy...

Thank you I just looked up what barred was...now I see what your saying...so there is 0% chance of any being females due to the large amount of nonpigment in feathers stripes..is that correct???
