Sexing polish chicks

Do you have any pictures of them as day-olds? I've found it easy (but not 100% accurate) to sex based on crest shape/size when they're still fuzzballs.

Looking at just the crests right now....I'm not super experienced but it does unfortunately seem like all cockerels. The polish in my profile pic turned out to be a roo, if that gives any reference. Although 6 might have a chance at being female...

Also, #7 looks like a Buff Laced Polish.
Can you show me the difference on the puff balls? Mine are mixed but anything helps. I have two babies now one has a puff ball. The momma isn't the momma either she was broody so I just threw 2 eggs under her. I will send you a picture but if you have any to clarify the difference I would appreciate. Thanks

This link shows the differences and explains in better detail than I could: http://www.swpoultry.com/CindySite/Sexing_Polish.html

I managed to catch some decent pictures of Peabody after their "bucket scrub" yesterday.

They all have a hatch date of 4/11. Still too soon to know if Peabody is a Mr. or a Mrs.?

Definitely too soon to have a certain answer, but the brown one in the front of those images looks suspiciously like a boy. It's standing tall with its tail held high, and obviously very curious of you.

The little polish's crest is too old now to be sexed through feathers. Until they're older, behavior is your best bet of sexing for now.

Thanks for looking! That's what I figured. I'm not savvy enough on behaviors yet to know for sure, but Peabody walks the most upright out of all of them. During a 'pecking order' challenge, Peabody doesn't back down, but also does not INITIATE any challenges, either. I see more belly-bumping coming from my 2 Amberlinks & my Delaware, to be honest. But every once in a while, one of the others will come at Peabody and Peabody 'stands tall' the longest. 💪🏻

As far as my 'photobomber' (Wella, the Welsummer), my cat was sitting behind me....they ALL go into 'dinosaur-on-alert-stance' when she comes to investigate. 😂

The cat won't come near the brooder unless I've just cleaned it and they're busy with their treat. If they look at her, she takes off. 🤣
