Sexing silkie

i just got 3 rescue Silkies. One looks somewhat of a rooster, but I’m skeptical.

Those look different from my Tractor Supply Silkies, so I don't know. But nice rescue!

How old? Silkie pullets can get big combs like that if they are old enough.

Full grown, as far as I know. The lady had them for awhile, and just recently had to get rid of them.

Another of them has like tiny streamers, and hard feathers in the tail. I read somewhere that that could be signs of a cockerel.

This one is much younger than the others, and the lady had gotten it about a month ago. It’s still getting its adult feathers in.

Is there any other way I can sex them other than combs and feathers? I haven’t seen any.

You can dna test them. It’s like $20 or so. I forget the name of the lab but if you’re really interested I can look it up. You have to pluck some feathers out aka can’t use ones that just fall off naturally though but it will cure your curiosity!

1st one..hard to tell. Depends the age
The 2nd looks roo-ish due to the streamers but I am not expert. Heck I need help sexing my own silkie haha. But just a guess from doing a lot of lurking on this forum!
