Hello!
I seem to remember seeing something about the shape of the bare comb area on a newborn silkie chick being a good indicator of sex, but I can't remember if a more pointed shape means male and a more square shape a female, or vice versa! Any help, please?
Also read something about the first and third toe being the same length in females and different lengths in males, is there any truth to that? What about the vent shape sexing method where you look at the outside of the vent and if the "fold" looks like a U it's a male, if it's turned downwards it's a female? Are those accurate?
