This is my little Ameraucana/BCM chick that I hatched 5 and a half weeks ago. He's the only survivor out of 12 incubated eggs and my first ever chick! He's always been very timid and shy and had "female-shaped" wings after hatching. His comb was very pale until last week.
I read something about three rows of "peas" meaning a male chick, but then read other posts disproving this. What do you think? He definitely has more than one row of "peas".
Do you think my chick is looking more male or female? When do you say that it's confirmed male or female? Does him being an Ameraucana/BCM hybrid impact comb size or color? Any information is interesting and helpful!
