I dont have any silkies but from reading on here, you cant really tell by looking , you have to wait for a crow or an egg. If your's are chicks... dont plan on knowing for 4-5 months... at least, not sure when silkies start to lay.

I know. I wasnt planning for a couple of months anyways. But ive noticed from pics that it looks like the pullets dont have feathers covering their eyes, and the cockerels do so it looks like they cant see. Can anyone conferm this?

Especially your splash rooster. (Rain and Droplet are cute names together)

Thamks! All of my splash birds get names associated with water. (Splash, Rain,Waterfall, Droplet, Drizzle, and Wave)
