sexing silkies

how old do they have to be and what are the signs? and is this right! pure silkies have 5 toes?

female wing have uneven feathers growing..makes have even... u have to sex them within the first few days

If you miss sexing them properly within the first few day's (2), then you will have to wait a long time as they are notoriously hard to sex until they are way older.

Yes, they have 5 toes. I have a couple odd balls with 6.

I was always told you have to wait for a crow or a egg. I am still waiting on several of mine. I do see the rooster picking out nice tid bits for some of them, I hope he wouldn't do that for a roo!

yes i have have read that a lot just thought that they my be a silkie guRoo on here that knows different oh well
