Does anyone know of a hatchery that you can just get silky pullets, or bantams for that matter? I'm having a hard time finding one and my husband says no more roosters.

Crow or lay an egg? What if they have the nose crest? Or do the hens have them also? Ive been culling Silkies this week, I guess I may take them out of the holding pen and put them back in with everyone else. I certainly don't want to part with any girls. That would defeat my purpose all together.
From completely confused :-(

Any thought on theses pictures?? Anyone!!??

Silkies are very hard to sex until they are about 6 months old. when they start getting the puff on their head, the male silkie has "streamer like" feathers that look like there being brushed back. The hens don't have those "streamer like" feathers on their puff. I Hope this helps!!
