I have two swedish blues, both make quacking/honking/peeping/rasping ish noises, one a lot more than the other.
They are both supposedly girls but one is about twice the size of the other and I was wondering if maybe I ended up with a drake?
They are about two months old so idt they would have the curly feather yet if one was a boy and neither have started laying yet.

If there's any quacking at all then it's a girl. It can take certain girls longer to completely figure out their big girl voice.

I went back out to try and figure out who was quacking and the little one quacks, the big one makes kind of a quack... more like a quite quack stuck in her throat sound. And the big one only does it in response to the little one.

At two months it's going to be really hard to tell the sex. At about three months our drake's bill turned dark green. At four months he got a drake feather. I still can't tell much difference in their quacks but I'm positive one is a drake and one is a duck. Our boy is a little bigger than our girl and a LOT bigger than our girl Khaki. He's also a little darker and way pushier. Time will tell.

lol my big one has always been pushy ever since he was a little peep. I'll find out eventually, I had been thinking about giving them a boyfriend since somebody nearby had a pet drake they couldn't care for anymore but she just stopped talking to me... So once I realized I might have a boy then I definitely can't take on another. That's my only concern with having a drake ;]
