Sexing tool... any luck anyone?

On ebay, they supposedly have chicken sexing tools. Anyone ever have any luck? For $1.00, I just might try them!

Is this the string and needle method? If it is save your money as for one it doesn't work and second you have the materials laying around your house!

String and needle is exactly what it is. My neighbor ordered it. Received a needle and thread. I laughed till I cried when she called me over to see her new chic-sexing tool! Some say it works, but I'm doubtful. It is supposed to also work with a string tied through the hole of a round magnet. Thread the needle or magnet, tie it to a pencil or stick and hold it over the egg (or new chick) if it swings back and forth it's a boy, if it goes around in a circle it's a girl. Let us know if it works for you!
