Sexing Week and a Half Old Chicks

Ok, this is Gemella. She and Fe were the same size ( Gemella meaning twin sister) but is now clearly smaller then Fe.

Could you try and get some better pics with clearer lighting? Its hard to tell but it looks like a few might already have the beginnings of waddles. I am leaning towards roo on Fe, but I can't say for sure without brighter, clearer face shots.

It's all too soon folks. Trying to sex one week, two week, even three week old chicks is horribly inaccurate. Patience. Patience. What difference would just another week or two make? They are what they are and what they are going to be. LOL

If you need to get rid of cockerels, you can certainly do it later. You wouldn't act upon any guess now anyway. Just trying to be very honest here. All things will be revealed in due time.

Okay, Fe and Carla are both cockerals. Carla has been crowing for over a week, and Fe is almost there. Will post pics later.
