Sexing Welsummers

Does anyone know if you can sex welsummers by their coloring? I wanted to by some, but I only want pullets. Can you tell better when they are a little older? Any suggestions would help. I may go buy some tonight.

I have always sexed mine by choosing the birds with very prominent brown stripes down their back. Always been pullets.

I think it has something to do with the V on their heads..but I don't remember which is F or M.
