I've heard it depends on the breed too. Last year when I got my two Lakenvelders (a pullet and a cockerel) their wing feathers were noticeably different from day one, so I'm assuming they're a breed that can be feather sexed.

I going to be getting some frizzles and I already have 3 roosters, I don't want any more and I want to know how to sex them when I go to the feed store to get them, they don't sex the bantams because it is harder and i just want to give it a shot, I am probably getting 4 and knowing me about 2 will be roosters, they are always the cute ones when they are little
