My ducklings are 5 days old what age can I sex them? I hatched them myself there pure pekins. There's three I saw one of them has a tail feather that's curling.

Welcome to BYC you won't see a real curl drake feather till much later like 3 months or older the only way to sex them now would be vent sexing and if not experienced they can be injured so I don't recommend it, why not just enjoy them while they are babies it won't take long before you can tell by quack and tail feather. Pics when you can.and Congrats on your babies.

There's 2 of them the other one is still drying in the incubator. I was wrong my pekins are 2 days old and my mixed breed ducks are 6 days old.

I honestly don't know I'm friends with the lady that sold me the eggs. She has 7 different duck breeds in the same kennel lol.

They sure are cute. Post as they grow we love to watch how they change over time.. have you read the info here on BYC on duckling care?
