I do all varieties, fast or slow feathered. Doesn't matter.I think the chicks are too old, and only some can be feather sexed no all and it depends on if mom or dad had the slow vs fast feathering gene. I don't know specifics but there are threads on he re with more info or someone will chime in hopefully

Cistan, the first post in this link explains how sexing by sex linking works, red sex links, black sex links, and feather sexing. I had to read it a few times and ask questions for it to sink in. The hen only gives the sex linked genes to her sons, the daughters get nothing from her. The rooster gives a gene at that gene pair to all his offspring.Want to be able to get better at sexing by wings, is that possible?
