Those golden Comets are GORGEOUS!! I want some, aren't they a cross with RIR's and something??
I might have some Black Sex Links hatching, but I'm not exactly sure though. Did you know that they lay like 300 or more eggs a year or something like that?? lol

Poor Reety has her back feathers all plucked out... still a pretty girl though. And now her feathers aren't purple anymore. A pic of her egg and a drawing of her by me are included. I will donate a drawing (see ChickenSketch in my sig for other examples) like that one. In the third pic she's the one in back. The egg announcement is because she was the first in our flock to lay. In the fourth pic- you guessed it- she's the orange one.

Thanks FisherMOM, I think she is a prettiest one out there, and she is a real sweetheart too.

And they are all very dependable, we have five of them (the other wasn't cooperating for picture day

) and every day we are getting 5-4 eggs, these girls are not slackers.
