Yes Easily so. A BBRed roo on Silver Duckwing hens would give pure BBRed hens and and roos that would look more like Golden Duckwings

But yeah any Gold gened roos with any Silver gened hens crossed together would make sexlinks that would technially be pure OEGBs and if you get the crosses right like the one above, you can even make pure colored OEGB sexlinks.

You can take this one step farther.
Lets say you cross a Black Breasted Red Rooster over a Silver Duck-Wing Hen there offspring would be --
F1 Males Golden Duck-Wing and F1 Black Breasted Red Females [as Clint stated above]

Here is the one step farther

Take a F1 Golden Duck-Wing Male and put him over a Barred Female and there offspring would be --
F2 Barred Males and F2 Black Females.

The same thing would work. Dont use whites becuase you never know what they are masking.

But a non barred silkie roo on Cuckoo hens will give the black sexlink type Silkies

Buff, Red, or Partridge roo on Grey Silkie hens will give Red Sexlink type Silkies

Your girls got more Buff than mine did, but I sold them close to when those last pics were taken so I dont know if they got more later.

I got my RIW hens from Privett hatchery, the birds are OK but they have terrible customer service. Dont bother with emailing them, you wont get a responce, if you call, their workers are snotty people and even if you reguest a price list over the phone like I did, you may not get it either. And I dont think their website is up anymore, so personally I dont recommend them, but they are the one of the very few places I found that have them.

And thanks, I love my SS roo too, its hard to get that size in Speckled Sussex.

Welp Hatchery has RIWs, and excellent customer service.

I've heard that Welp's an excellent company to deal with (bought some Cornish Xs a few months ago and they were very nice and helpful), but I've heard that their RIWs are not excellent layers like I want. Thanks anyway though!

Just thought I would share current pics of my Buff Orpington x Barred Rock sex-link pullets (pictured on post #12), who are now laying lots of large eggs! I got my first egg when they turned 19 weeks old!

Here are a few of them at 6 months old, now with big full bodies and large scarlet combs and wattles!!!

One of my crosses was a EE roo over a black austro hen. The one pullet has the dark glossy feathers with dark gold feathering in the hackel, and the black eye like her mom with the pea comb, slate legs, and a more upright stance like her daddy. Wish i had taken photos of her before I sold her. Very beautiful.
