Lily laid a jumbo egg today, as usual, but this one was the length of my pointer finger. Of course, not even a double yolker- just one HUGE yolk! UGH!!

Im looking in Strombergs catalog and their 17 week old pullets are $12.50 plus $64.01 for shipping for ONE bird. I could see paying that for show quality breeders, but for hybrids just for layers ????? No way I'd even think about that.
