Bought 6, 8 week old chick's. We were told they were 3 Redstar hens (they obviously are not Redstar hens) but the seller was adamant they are hens and 3 Blackstar hens.
My question is, could these be Whitestar hens?
TIA,
Scott

These look like the chicks my brother-in-law purchased as ISA Brown. They've grown to look exactly like these. We're also in the process of figuring out what he ended up with. Sorry I'm not more help!

I'm sure they're Redstar roos. Makes sense the way their tail and wing feathers look.
The seller is refunding thank goodness.

Who was the seller? Is it possible the parents to these chicks were red stars? Sexlinks are hybrids that don't breed true. The chick that is pictured does not have the comb and wattles I would expect on a sexlink cockeral. It looks like a pullet.

The seller originally bought them as chicks from a Calranch store here in Utah. I spoke with them and the only Sexlinks the sell are Black and Redstar. So problem solved.... all 3 are roo Redstar. Seller bought them back thankfully.
