I’m not 100% sure either. Would love to find someone that has tried. I’m going to do it anyway, was just curious. The female Sussex in the chart is a Light Sussex, not a White Sussex. The Light Sussex would have black in their hackles, where as the White Sussex would be all white. I would think there is a high chance that you could hatch out a sex linked chick from your two birds, but I'm not 100% sure.
Oh! If it is a Light Sussex, then I'd say yes, you'd have a sex linked chick. The left in that chart is the males and the right is the females. You can breed any rooster in that left box to any hen in the right box and get a sex linked chick.I’m not 100% sure either. Would love to find someone that has tried. I edited the white to light. That’s the third time autocorrect has let me down.
That’s what I am hoping but in the post I got the chart from, it went on about all these exceptions and things you had to do and I just got confused and a headache. Lol.Oh!
