That is a black sex-linked cross. Males spot on head and females no spot on the head.
Producing black rock.
Take one of the black sex linked males and cross him with one of the black sex linked females.
This cross will produce some barred birds- eat the barred males and sell the barred females. The cross will also produce some black males and females. Pick out the birds with the best black color. A few will segregate the wheaten gene and will show more red or silver than the remainder of the birds. The majority will show a little red/silver or no red/silver.
I would breed the birds that show a little silver over the birds that show a little red.
Now you almost have black rocks. One more cross should produce self (solid) black birds. Breed these for the male side of sex linked barred rock cross. You would then cross a black male with a barred rock female; the cross will produce barred males and black females.
